Celebrate the Holidays in Bingen with Santa at the Park

The holiday season is a time for gathering, celebrating, and creating cherished memories, and the City of Bingen knows how to bring the magic of Christmas to life. One of the most anticipated events of the season is the annual Santa at the Park, hosted by the City of Bingen Volunteer Fire Department. This beloved community tradition combines festive cheer, good food, and heartwarming activities for all ages.

Mark your calendar for Friday, December 20, as the festivities kick off with the Lighted Fire Truck Parade. At 5:30 PM, the parade departs from Bingen City Hall, weaving its way through the town’s streets in a dazzling display of twinkling lights and holiday spirit. With Santa Claus himself aboard the decorated fire truck, the procession is a sight to behold. Find a spot on the sidewalks to wave at Santa!

The parade culminates at Daubenspeck Park around 6:00 PM, where the real magic begins. The park transforms into a cozy winter wonderland, complete with free pizza and steaming cups of hot chocolate to warm your hands and heart. As the aroma of holiday treats fills the air, the sound of carolers singing timeless Christmas classics adds a nostalgic charm to the evening.

For many, the highlight of the night is visiting with Santa Claus. Kids can share their holiday wishes, and families are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture these special moments. The combination of sparkling lights, the laughter of children, and the camaraderie of neighbors make this event a truly memorable experience.

Whether you’re a Bingen resident or visiting for the holidays, Santa at the Park is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the season’s spirit. It’s a night of joy, connection, and celebration that showcases the heart of this vibrant community.
